Pungume Island
A small wild paradise
Departing from Kizimkazi, embark for one of the best-kept secrets of southern Zanzibar. Pingume offers a spectacular lagoon, a wealth of colorful corals, and, weather permitting, wonderful encounters with dolphins, which are observed with complete respect for their environment.
You will also explore open caves accessible by boat, where the transparency of the water seems unreal (depending on the tide), before enjoying a turquoise swim in a setting still preserved from mass tourism.

Traditional Dhow

An authentic day on a traditional sailboat. Gentle sailing, snorkeling in translucent water rich in corals, swimming in natural pools, access, depending on the tide, to small "open caves" and mangroves where the boat can enter for observation.
Seafood barbecue lunch directly on the boat, fresh fruit, drinks included and taxes.
Comfort Speedboat
Embark on a local speedboat to explore Pinguimé in a different way: its translucent waters, its rich corals, and if nature allows, the magical encounter with dolphins.
You also have access to mangroves and small open rocky cavities, which you can enter by boat to admire incredibly clear water (depending on the tide).

Dhow: approximately 8 hours (full day, departing from Kizimkazi)
Local speedboat: approximately 6 hours (half-day, departing from Kizimkazi)

For the local speedboat option, you are accompanied by a guide and lunch is served on a private sandbar.
In traditional dau, the meal is prepared and served directly on board.
What to bring: Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a change of clothes.
